“Fewer Finer was born out of my love for the small but significant pieces of our lives that define who we are and what we love."
— Madison
“Fewer Finer became my full-time role while I was living in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. In January of 2020, I left my job in production and my Williamsburg apartment became my new office. After living there for two years, and growing the business with my first employee, I moved the business to an office in Greenpoint and I now reside in Astoria, Queens. This is what an ideal Saturday in my old neighborhood would look like!”

I love starting my day with a work out, especially a fun one! Good Move offers a selection of pilates and yoga classes, but I really go here for the dance classes. Check out Ballet for Every Body or Adult Beginner Dance: Like The Hot Bitch You Always Knew You Were and really let loose. If dancing isn’t your thing, head over to SESSION for a circuit training style class. They have the nicest trainers in the game and I always leave feeling like I really put the work in.
A few blocks away is Marlow & Sons, my favorite local coffee shop. They always have a gorgeous selection of made in-house pastries, but I’m exceptionally passionate about their savory scones!
Post workout, treat yourself to a little recovery at Bathhouse. This underground oasis features three thermal pools: hot (104°F), cold (52°F), and thermoneutral (94°F), a dry sauna, a tropical sauna, and a starlight steam room. A day pass will allow you to use all of these amenities, but you can also add on treatments like a massage, facial, or scrub.
I sadly didn’t discover 7 Grain Army until the week I moved out of Williamsburg, but I’ve visited many times since just to come here. They are known for their stellar gluten-free muffins, but I love their bowls and sandwiches for an easy lunch. They also have great crackers and dips that you can take to go. If you’re simply in the mood for gluten, check out L’industrie for the best pizza in the neighborhood.
There are so many great shops in Williamsburg. I love Stella Dallas for a huge selection of vintage home decor and clothing, Spoonbill & Sugartown for rare Art books as well as the latest best sellers, Sharktooth for a curated selection of incredible rugs, and Great Eros for elegant and simple lingerie. There are so many more, you can truly shop until you drop in Williamsburg.
Relax from shopping with a drink at Hotel Delmano. Snag the corner patio table for optimum people watching over a great cocktail and a dozen oysters.
The Four Horsemen is truly my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn. It’s a beautifully designed space with an always rotating menu of interesting natural wines and small plates. Sitting at the counter will make you feel like a regular and gives you the best access to the sommelier. Everything is good here, but don’t skip the bread - they take it seriously and you can tell!
Mezcaleria Milagrosa is an agave speakeasy hidden in a former laundromat. If you do find your way inside, you’ll be rewarded by a disco ball, smoke machine, and strong margaritas. If you’re looking for a little more room to dance, check out Black Flamingo, a vegan taqueria that happens to have a discotheque in the basement with an impressive soundsystem and excellent rotation of DJs .
