Fewer Finer is a fine jewelry company that specializes in high end pieces for everyday wear. The line includes a capsule collection, a rotating vintage selection, and custom designs for bridal, heirloom re-imaginations, and bespoke engraving.
There is no substitute for the fine handiwork of craftspeople. For this reason, Fewer Finer pieces are nearly all hand made and finished in New York City by highly skilled and passionate people who specialize in their trade. It is a great pleasure to work with multi-generational family-owned companies, artisans who have honed their craft at home in other countries, and master jewelers who love their art.
Solid 14k gold is the only material used in every part of a Fewer Finer piece. The number of karats tells you the percentage of a piece that is pure gold. Since pure gold is 24 karats, 14 karats is 14/24 parts, or 58%, pure. The remaining percentage is an alloy, added to enhance the hardness and durability of naturally soft gold.
The diamonds in each piece of Fewer Finer jewelry are naturally colored and conflict free. All diamonds comply with United Nations resolutions and Kimberly Process regulations. Fewer Finer only supports ethical and environmental production standards and fair labor practices.
The Fewer Finer approach to jewelry comes from the idea of “fewer finer things,” which inspired the name for the brand. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve enjoyed refining - myself, my closet, my skills, etc. and I’ve found that less is more, if less is fewer and finer.

Domestic shipments to the Continental United States are sent complementary by Fewer Finer and will arrive within 2-5 business days. Overnight shipments may be available by request, at an extra cost. We ship all packages with Signature Required. The customer is responsible for providing us with a secure shipping location for delivery and one in which a person is available to sign for the package. If a change of shipping address is required by the customer, this request must come in writing via email, before the shipping confirmation is sent, and is not Fewer Finer’s responsibility until confirmed via email. If an item is received damaged, please email email@example.com immediately with a clear description of the item. It is required that a photo of the damaged package is included.
International Shipments are sent to most countries with a flat $75 fee. Customer pays all associated duties and taxes associated with the order. All other shipping details are in line with domestic shipping policies.
Shipping for Returns & Exchanges
Fewer Finer does not refund items that are lost or damaged in transit. We recommend packaging your items with extra padding and including secure tracking information and insurance for your own protection. Please note that in order to process an exchange, credit or refund, the customer must first be in touch with Fewer Finer so that we know to expect it alongside our other incoming shipments. Fewer Finer is not liable for items returned without prior notification.
If your purchase doesn't meet your expectations, you can return it within 7 days of receiving your package for a refund, credit, or exchange. Returns beyond this period are subject to a 20% restocking fee. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in its original packaging. Please note that damaged or visibly worn items may incur a 20% restocking fee. We also reserve the right to deny credit if the returned merchandise doesn't meet our return policy requirements.
To initiate a return, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will provide a prepaid return label. Approval via email is mandatory for returns to be accepted. Return shipping charges, based on the order value, will be deducted from your refund:
$15 for orders under $2,000
$50 for orders between $2,000 and $10,000
$100 for orders over $10,000
Discounted, engraved, custom, customized, bridal, limited edition, and one-of-a-kind items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Upon receiving your return, we will refund the purchase amount to the original payment method. Processing may take up to 7-10 business days, and refunds are typically posted to bank accounts within 5 business days. Please be sure to include your name and order number in the package to avoid additional processing delays.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or resizing requests for international orders. We also cannot refund original duties and taxes paid by the receiver. For inquiries about duties and taxes, contact your local customs agency.
Return Shipping Instructions
To ensure a smooth return process, it's highly recommended to retain a receipt confirming the carrier's acceptance of your package. Fewer Finer is only responsible for returns lost in transit if the carrier's tracking shows the package was accepted and scanned. If your return package wasn't scanned properly, we may not be able to assist in processing your exchange or return.

Most orders are custom cast, set, polished, and made to order in New York City. Because all pieces are made by hand, each is subject to slight variation. Please allow 4-6 weeks for all orders to be processed. Some items, especially those with customization and engraving, may take longer to ship. Signature Collection & Custom Work
Fewer Finer will cover the cost of all repairs under normal wear for the 90 days after purchase. If pieces are noticeably bent or show improper care, repairs will be performed at cost and charged to the customer. Outside of the 90 day period, Fewer Finer will perform repairs for a fee. We are happy to make minor adjustments to jewelry, including resizing, for an additional fee. Please reach out to email@example.com with your repair request and quote. Round-trip shipping costs will be covered by Fewer Finer if within the 90-day window, and otherwise are the responsibility of the customer.
All vintage pieces are sold as-is and Fewer Finer is not responsible for the cost of any needed repairs. We only sell pieces that we've determined are in wearable condition. That being said, antique jewelry should be handled with extra care. We will assess all repair requests on vintage pieces on a case-by-case basis and quote the customer accordingly. Please request a repair for vintage pieces via firstname.lastname@example.org. Round-trip shipping costs for an accepted vintage repair are the responsibility of the customer.
A simple home remedy for cleaning your gold and diamond jewelry is to mix a spot of dish soap in a bowl with warm water. Let your jewelry soak in the bowl for a few minutes. Remove the jewelry and scrub with a soft, clean toothbrush. Then, dry with a dish cloth and polish with a jewelry cloth. Repeat as often as necessary.
