Cartier’s earliest major successes was the Santos Watch - one of the world's first modern wristwatches. The bracelet design on this specific Santos is not exactly the one we are familiar with when we’re talking about the Santos: it has a stainless steel, tapered bracelet with golden centre links instead of screws. Cartier refers to it as the Rib bracelet. It makes the watch a little more special than the regular Santos!
