A Custom Heirloom Cigar Band Reset

An heirloom, reimagined for everyday wear.⁠ ⁠This custom ring was designed for a granddaughter to carry her grandmother’s piece forward, something she always knew would one day be hers. As the only granddaughter, the piece carries a deep sense of meaning, now reimagined as a ring she can wear every day on her middle finger.⁠ ⁠

The original ring held a collection of stones that became a kind of puzzle once unset 12 small diamonds, one larger diamond, and six emeralds. Each was carefully considered and repositioned to create a composition that feels both intentional and effortless.⁠ ⁠ Inspired by our 6mm Commons Ring, we built a band with enough depth to house the stones comfortably, balancing flush and star settings for a finished piece that honors the past while feeling entirely her own.
