A Custom Dome Ring to Hold a Pet's Ashes

Our client came to us to create a meaningful ring to hold the ashes of her beloved dog, Bernie, after losing him. Together, we designed a refined dome-shaped ring intended to be worn every day, with a hollow interior creating a small vessel for his ashes. We kept the gold substantial while carefully concealing the ashes inside, then soldered the ring closed so they would remain safely held within. To finish the piece, we hand engraved a letter B for Bernie alongside delicate snowflakes—a nod to the magical snowstorm that arrived in Tennessee after they lost him, creating an especially poignant connection to his memory.
