Hayden & Olivia

An incredibly ornate hand engraved engagement ring for such a special couple! Hayden came to us with an heirloom 1.89 carat diamond and so much love to create a meaningful ring for his beloved, Olivia. He was very excited about the design potential of symbolizing parts of Olivia story through the hand engraving—which was music to our ears!

At the start of the project, Hayden shared some touching sentiments about Olivia—he described her as brilliant, strong, and resilient, having overcome significant challenges with little support. He told us how Olivia feels deep connection to her late mother, whose influences still remains strong in her life. Through custom engraving, the hope for the ring was to symbolize their love, with subtle nods to Olivia's mom, and Olivia's resilience.

We set the diamond in a classic 6-prong style basket to keep it looking romantic and slightly vintage. In order to have enough of a blank canvas to execute the engraved vision, the diamond was set on a 2mm wide square band.
