A Modified Arch Ring Reset

Our client brought us a beautiful 1.7 carat round brilliant diamond to reset into a slightly modified version of our Arch Ring. The original engagement ring was a platinum bezel setting, which is already quite contemporary, however our client wanted a more striking and substantial design in yellow gold.

Working from our beloved Arch Ring, we modified the design to add more metal around the stone and give a boldness to the overall shape. You can see our Arch Ring below without any modifications and how the metal follows the contour of the stone, then tapers off distinctly beyond its shape.
